Mr. Prasanna Venkatesan – Tongue Cancer Treatment 
Mr. R. Prasanna Venkatesan, the sole bread winner of a family, was suffering from Tongue Cancer and was undergoing treatment at Apollo Speciality Hospital, Chennai. His wife, Mrs. Sridevi, made a fervent appeal to help her out in contributing towards her husband’s cancer treatment expenses.
Her appeal was accepted and WOE paid a major portion of Mr. Prasanna Venkatesan’s medical expenses directly to Apollo Speciality Hospital, Chennai.
Mr. Sudalai Kannan – Laparoscopic Surgery 
Mr. Sudalai Kannan, the father of Mr. Muthukumar, working as a Driver, was down with severe stomach pain. He was treated by Dr. Ashok, of Laser and Laparoscopic Hospital, T.Nagar, Chennai – 600 017, who has advised him to undergo Laparoscopic Surgery for Appendectomy and Adhesiolysis. His son Mr. Muthukumar approached the WOE to help him in meeting the surgery expenses.
WOE agreed and entire surgery expenses of Mr. Sudalai Kannan were sponsored by the WOE.
Mr. J. Pathianathan – Dialysis 
Mr. J. Pathianathan, aged 50 years, is jobless and is suffering from Kidney Malfunction for nearly 8 years. He is left with his wife and 2 daughters. He has been undergoing dialysis from Tamilnad Kidney Research Foundation, Chennai – 600 034, with subsidized rates for the treatment. His wife Mrs. Sagaya Mary, struggles hard to lead the family and meet the day-to-day requirement of the family. She approached WOE to help her out in meeting the dialysis expenses. WOE donated a sum to the Tamilnad Kidney Research Foundation and made arrangements to provide free dialysis to Mr. Pathianathan.
