“Little Drops” is a home for the destitute and deserted men and women. There are also mentally challenged people, who have been denied entry into their house by their families. They were all mostly picked up from the streets with injuries and maggot wounds. Most of them suffer from malnutrition, dehydration, low sugar, etc and have been denied admission even in Government hospitals for want of attendants and in some cases because of the stench and dirty clothes on them.
Little Drops also runs a Tailoring School for the people below poverty to make them earn their bread.
WOE team visited Little Drops and were really moved to hear about from “How it all Began” from Mother Teresa inaugurating the home in the year 1991 to the present development of the Home. WOE expressed its heartfelt appreciation for the dedicated services of the Board of Trustees of Little Drops and prays that God provides them with all the facilities that they may require perennially to meet the needs of the Home. WOE financially supported the home.
